New Delhi: A State-level wrestler from Punjab has been arrested here along with his two associates for their alleged involvement in a series of robbery incidents in the Capital. The arrested have been identified as Maninder Singh, the wrestler, Keshav Kumar and Veer Bahadur.

The three were allegedly actively involved in a number of robbery incidents in West and South-West Delhi, police said. They were also involved in an attempt to murder case as they stabbed a person while committing robbery, the police said. They were arrested from Ghanta Ghar in West Delhi when they were about to commit another robbery, they said, adding the accused have confessed to the crime. -- PTI
