Dry weather

RAINFALL: Rain/snow has occurred at a few places in Uttarakhand and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cm are: HIMACHAL PRADESH: Dhundi 1, EAST UTTAR PRADESH: Kanpur 2, WEST UTTAR PRADESH: Jhansi 1 and UTTARAKHAND: Nanital 1.

TEMPERATURES:

MINIMUM: The minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, fell in Haryana and west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. They were appreciably above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 07.4ºC recorded at Bhatinda (Punjab).

FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 22nd November 2010: Weather will be mainly dry over the region. After 24 hours isolated rain/snow could occur in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in rest of the region.
