Southwest monsoon has been active in Himachal Pradesh.

RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh, at many places in east Rajasthan, at a few places in Haryana Punjab, West Rajasthan and Uttrakhand and at isolated places in rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: HARYANA: (2 cm and above) Ayanagar 5, Delhi Ridge, New Delhi, Palam and Adampur 3 each and Chandigarh, New Delhi Safdarjung and Rohtak 2 each, HIMACHAL PRADESH: (4 cm and above) Gohar 7, Sundernagar 5 and Bhuntar and Pandoh 4 each and PUNJAB: (3 cm and above) Halwara 5 and Adampur airport, Ludhiana and Jagraon 3 each

FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 10th July 2010: Rain/thundershowers would occur at a few places in south Rajasthan and south Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in rest of the region.
