RAINFALL: Weather was mainly dry over the region.
MINIIMUM TEMPERATURES : The minimum temperatures rose appreciably in west Rajasthan, rose in Punjab and changed little elsewhere. They were appreciably above normal in west Rajasthan, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 07.5ºC recorded at Nazibabad (Uttar Pradesh).
FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 23rd FEBRUARY 2013: Rain/snow would occur at a few places over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh and at one or two places over Uttarakhand during next 24 hours and increase thereafter. Rain/thundershowers may occur at one or two places over Punjab and Haryana during next 24 hours and increase thereafter.
