Mainly dry weather

RAINFALL: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

MINIIMUM TEMPERATURES : The minimum temperatures rose appreciably in west Rajasthan, rose in Punjab and changed little elsewhere. They were appreciably above normal in west Rajasthan, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 07.5ºC recorded at Nazibabad (Uttar Pradesh).     

    FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 23rd FEBRUARY 2013: Rain/snow would occur at a few places over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh and at one or two places over Uttarakhand during next 24 hours and increase thereafter. Rain/thundershowers may occur at one or two places over Punjab and Haryana during next 24 hours and increase thereafter. Rain/thundershowers would occur at one or two places over Delhi, west Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan on 22nd and increase thereafter. Rain/thundershowers would occur at one or two places over east Uttar Pradesh and south Rajasthan on 23rd. 

WARNING  :    Heavy rain/snow may occur at one or two places over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on 23rd.. Heavy rainfall may occur at one or two places over Haryana, Delhi and west Uttar Pradesh on 23rd.  Thunder squall accompanied with hails could also occur at one or two places over Jammu division of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, west Uttar Pradesh on 23rd . 

FORECAST FOR DELHI AND NEIGHBOURHOOD VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 23rd FEBRUARY 2013: Mainly clear sky. Mist/shallow fog in the morning.
