 Weather was mainly dry over the region.

MINIIMUM TEMPERATURES: The minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Haryana, Punjab, west Rajasthan and Uttarakhand  and changed little elsewhere. They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 06.0ºC at Amritsar (Punjab).

FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 15th DECEMBER 2012: Rain/snow would occur at many places over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during next 48 hours and decrease thereafter.  Light to moderate rain/thundershowers would occur at one or two places over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, north Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh during next 48 hours.  Weather would be mainly dry over the rest of the region.

.     HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING: Heavy rain/snow would occur at one or two places over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during next 48 hours.       

    FORECAST FOR DELHI AND NEIGHBOURHOOD VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 15th DECEMBER 2012: Partly cloudy sky. Light to moderate rain/thundershowers could occur in some areas. Mist/shallow fog in the morning.
