MINIMUM TEMPERATURE : The minimum temperatures fell markedly in east Uttar Pradesh, fell appreciably in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, fell in Punjab and east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. They were markedly below normal in Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh, appreciably below normal in Haryana, Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 07.4C recorded at Suratgarh (Rajasthan).
