Police recovered weapons from Muhamadgang area in Palamu district of Jharkhand on Thursday.

The police had arrested an alleged Naxal named Umesh Paswan who directed them to that place.

Following the tip-off, the police launched a search operation and recovered six rifles, one carbine and a number of pistols. They have started a combing operation in the entire area.

According to sources, they are planning to seek more help from the Central Reserve Police Force.
