“Uttar Pradesh holds enormous potential for industrial development. The State Government is committed to creating an investor-friendly environment by providing all possible facilities and transparent services,” said U.P. Small Scale Industries Minister Bhagwat Saran Gangwar, during his visit to the U.P. Pavilion at the ongoing India International Trade Fair here on Friday.
To encourage private sector to invest in U.P., the Minister said the State Government was providing improved industrial infrastructure and facilities for investors to set up their industrial units in the State.
Special provisions were being formulated to encourage investment in energy, education and health sectors.
He also inaugurated a unique web-based utility service to enable automatic registration of micro, small and medium enterprises in the State.
Sparing entrepreneurs the inconvenience of making rounds of government offices, the new internet-portal of Industries Department will provide 24x7 facility of online registration including filing of memorandum and getting registration number instantly. The Minister also inaugurated another portal to facilitate participation of entrepreneurs in national and international trade fairs. Interested entrepreneurs will now be able to participate in trade fairs at cheaper cost.
In conformity to IITF’s theme “Skilling India”, the Minister honoured educationists and entrepreneurs, who have made valuable contribution in the extension of technical education in Uttar Pradesh.
