Two businessmen have been rescued by the Central Bureau of Investigation from their abductors in South Delhi. Four persons have been arrested in this connection.

Acting on a tip-off, the CBI team mounted a raid in Mohan Garden locality and rescued A.G. Lenin and Anandan. Abdul, Sanjeev, Rakesh and Yusuf have been arrested.

The victims, both from Tamil Nadu, were allegedly kidnapped and kept at Mohan Garden since November 25. The accused had demanded Rs.25 lakh for the release and the ransom money was transferred to their bank account.

Sanjeev has been involved in cases under the Arms Act. The gang would allegedly lure businessmen to Delhi on the pretext of making deals, kidnap them and extort money.
