Over 300 people have been prosecuted in the city since Sunday for violating traffic rules in the name of supporting activist Anna Hazare's protest.

“A total of 170 violations were recorded on Tuesday. Of these, 63 were for riding without helmet and 107 were for triple-riding,” said Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Satyendra Garg.

On Sunday, a total of 40 prosecutions were recorded, while the number stood at 126 on Monday.
