NEW DELHI: To facilitate Delhi Metro railway construction work, the stretch of Aurobindo Marg from All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to IIT will remain closed for traffic during night hours between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. daily up to December. The route falls on the upcoming Central Secretariat-Gurgaon rail corridor. According to a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation release, traffic that was to pass through this section of Aurobindo Marg would now be diverted via Gautam Nagar, NIFT Road and Dilip Singh Marg for coming back to Aurobindo Marg.

The DMRC has also deployed traffic marshals on the diverted road and adequate signboards have been installed for the convenience of the public.
