Patna: Three children were killed and ten injured, four of them seriously, when a wall collapsed on them following incessant rains at Gaushnagar village of Bihar’s Nalanda district on Saturday. Condoling the deaths, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar directed the Chief Secretary and Nalanda District Magistrate to grant Rs 1 lakh as compensation to the families of those killed and Rs 50,000 to the families of the critically injured, whose treatment costs would be borne by the government.
