A church in South Delhi was vandalised and looted early on Wednesday, the police said. The robbery took place at St. Mary Malankara Catholic Church in Neb Sarai. Church authorities said a golden cross was among the stolen items, which were worth Rs. 5 lakh.“As the holy place and holy Eucharist got desecrated, we doubt the intention of the culprits,” said church spokesman Father Varghese Mattamana.
