NEW DELHI: A 20-year-old pregnant woman died of swine flu at Safdarjung Hospital here on Tuesday morning.

She was admitted to the hospital on September 18 and had been on a ventilator. She died of respiratory distress.

The death toll due to swine flu in the Capital has now reached 10.

The State Health Department on Tuesday announced that Tamiflu would now be available at authorised chemist shops in the city. The decision was taken after receiving a notification to this effect from the Union Health Ministry.

Delhi Health Minister Kiran Walia said: “As per the notification, we will identify chemists in every district who have licence and also give wide publicity to the sale of Tamiflu.”
