Several farmhouses in Roz Ka Gujjar villager here were sealed on Thursday for illegally carrying out commercial activities. One of the sealed farmhouses belongs to pop singer Mika Singh.

A joint team of several officials along with the police carried out inspection at the farmhouses and sealed them for allowing tourists to use the premises for recreation purposes.

The bore-wells inside the farmhouses were demolished and the electricity connections snapped.

The National Green Tribunal had recently objected to running of commercial activities in Roz Ka Gujjar, three-fourths of whose area has been categorised as forest. Following directions to get these activities stopped, Gurgaon Deputy Commisioner P.C. Meena had himself inspected the area and constituted a team of local officials to carry out the exercise.
