Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit faced angry protests during a function organised by some employees of the Delhi Transport Corporation on Wednesday.

As Ms. Dikshit began her speech, some employees started raising anti-government slogans and did not allow her to continue.

They also shouted slogans in support of their demands, including regularisation of contractual employees.

“The Chief Minister has not kept her promise,” said an employee.

Ms. Dikshit could not complete her address due to the protest.

The function was held at the DTC headquarters near ITO in the Capital. — PTI
