NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Thursday said her government was committed to development and expansion of homoeopathy as it offers the optimal mix of simplicity, economy, effectiveness of treatment and cultural acceptability among the Capital’s diverse population.

Launching a new campaign, “Homoeopathy for healthy mother and happy child”, Ms. Dikshit also dedicated a website for homoeopathy,, to provide the option of online treatment and consultancy to the people.

She pointed out that homoeopathy enjoys a high reputation and its remedies have been used traditionally in Indian families for over 150 years.
