A senior commandant with the Railway Protection Force, who is presently posted at Ranchi in Jharkhand, has been booked by the CBI for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Santosh Kumar Dubey has been booked under various provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets to the tune of about Rs.1.48 crore.

“It is also alleged that in the year 2006-07, he had purchased a residential apartment measuring 1400 sq. ft at Defence Colony in South Delhi. He also got constructed a three-storey house at Ashok Nagar in Ranchi. All the assets were allegedly acquired during his short service career,” said a CBI official.
