Lok Jan Shakti Party president Ram Vilas Paswan on Thursday announced that the RJD-LJP combine was “firmly rooted” and would go on to form the next government in Bihar.

“Our alliance is as solid as a rock, and this situation will prevail even after the polls. We are confident of forming the next government,” Mr. Paswan told reporters here, stating that the seat sharing arrangement between the RJD and the LJP would be disclosed within a week's time. He said that along with Lalu Prasad they planned to address rallies at 50 places as part of their poll strategy, beginning with Madhepura district on July 16.
