NEW DELHI: A day after Municipal Commissioner Ashok Kumar Nigam expressed his unwillingness to resume the sealing drive in the Capital till the municipal polls in Delhi are over, the Supreme Court-appointed Monitoring Committee on Friday submitted a detailed report to the Court apprising it of the civic body's stand on the issue. "We have submitted a report to the Supreme Court informing it about the MCD's stand on resuming the sealing drive," said a member of the Monitoring Committee, refusing to divulge the contents of the report. The Supreme Court had directed sealing of illegal commercial establishments in the city's residential areas.
