NEW DELHI: Satyam founder B. Ramalinga Rajumoved the Supreme Court on Thursday seeking his release on bail.

Raju filed this appeal against the AP High Court order rejecting his bail. Raju said he was suffering from serious cardiac and other health problems and was willing to abide by any conditions imposed by the court for his release.

He said the investigation in the case had been completed and charge-sheet was also filed and hence there was no need for further judicial custody.

He pointed out that as the charge-sheet contained voluminous documents, he was unable to go through it and to meet his counsel to prepare for his defence due to his ill-health. Raju was arrested in January 2009.
