Regular power supply was restored to Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital here on Friday, a day after a short-circuit caused power failure causing much inconvenience to the patients.

The hospital Medical Superintendent, Dr.C. M. Khanijo, said: “Regular power supply has been restored. Reports about a patient having died due to medical negligence during the power failure are not true. The woman was admitted to the ICU and died after developing some medical complications. Her death was in no way related to the power failure.''
