With mystery surrounding the death of teenager Vaibhav Kumar, who had fallen from the 14{+t}{+h}floor of a building earlier this week, the police on Saturday said they were waiting for the post-mortem and forensic experts’ reports before reaching any conclusion.

“The post-mortem report was expected today [Saturday], but being a half-day it could not be procured. It is expected on Monday. The blood-like samples gathered from different floors of the building have been sent for forensic examination. It is after these reports are obtained that we can conclude whether it is a case of suicide or murder,” said Additional Commissioner of Police (South-West) A.K. Ojha.

Vaibhav, a class IX student, had fallen from the terrace of his apartment building in Sector 6 of Dwarka this past Wednesday around 10 p.m. His father rushed him to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Vaibhav’s father has alleged his son was murdered on the terrace and his body was thrown down later, but the police have not come across any evidence suggesting foul play so far.
