Hopefully the party would take a right decision: D. Raja

NEW DELHI: Even as the Pattali Makkal Katchi is yet to decide on its alliance options in Tamil Nadu, CPI national secretary D. Raja has invited the party to join the AIADMK-Left Front. He hoped that the PMK would take a right decision soon to help bring about a non-Congress, non-BJP government at the Centre.

Talking to The Hindu here on Saturday, Mr. Raja said that going by the issues and struggles taken up by the PMK, it had no reason to stay with the DMK-Congress front. He pointed out that the PMK had already joined hands with the Left, the AIADMK and the MDMK in various agitations including for Sri Lankan Tamils.

Mr. Raja wished that the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, led by Thol. Thirumavalavan, too joined the Left-AIADMK front as that party also held similar views on various subjects.
