The second part of the annual Saint Tyagaraja music festival will begin at Ambedkar Auditorium of Andhra Pradesh Bhavan on Ashok Road here this Friday with a musical presentation, ‘Nandanar Charithram’ , by noted artiste S. Sowmya and K. Bharat Sundar.

The festival has been organised by Shanmukhananda Sangeetha Sabha in association with Indian Oil Corporation.

The first part of the festival was inaugurated on March 15. The second part will be of three days’ duration running up to Sunday.

On the second day of the festival on March 30, upcoming artiste K. Bharat Sundar, who is a disciple of Padma Bhushan recipient P. S. Narayanaswamy, will render the first concert. It will be followed by a concert by Abhishek Raghuram.

On the last day of the festival, another upcoming artiste, Sandeep Narayan, disciple of leading vocalist Nadha Kalanidhi Sri Sanjay Subrahmanyan, will present the first concert. It will be followed by a concert of O. S. Tyagarajan.
