The Bhartiya Patita Uddhar Sabha has decided to extend its mobile medical van service to six more places in the Capital. The Sabha had launched a similar service for sex workers and their children in the red light area of Delhi in 2008 and claim to have treated 75,000 patients so far.

The six places where the service will now be launched are: Subhash Nagar, Raja Garden, New Ranjit Nagar, Pandav Nagar, Prem Nagar and Rama Road. The patients are provided free homeopathy medicine to the poor under the service. The Sabha has also decided to distribute “Darul Haldi”, a herbal medicine that controls diabetes, free of cost. – Staff Reporter
