NEW DELHI: Former Delhi University Students’ Union office-bearers on Monday handed over a memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor on certain “objectionable” portions in the B.A. History (Honours) syllabus.

Led by former DUSU president Narinder Tandon, they met Vice-Chancellor Deepak Pental’s nominee, Deputy Proctor M. M. Rehman, and told him that the History syllabus had “hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus”.

Meanwhile, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad activists staged a protest at Deshbandhu College over the same issue.
