Foreign officials undergoing an international training programme in legislative drafting at the Lok Sabha Secretariat's Bureau of Parliamentary Studies and Training have travelled to Hyderabad for an attachment with the Andhra Pradesh Legislature.

During their stay in Hyderabad, the officers also attended the Conference of the Commonwealth Association of Legislative Councils which began on February 9 and interacted with senior members of the Legislative Assembly and Council.

As many as 49 officers from 36 countries, besides five officers from the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha secretariats and two officers from the Kerala Legislative Assembly Secretariat, are attending the training programme.
