Two persons have been arrested by the Crime Branch of Delhi Police for allegedly being in possession of several kilograms of opium.

Acting on a tip-off, the team arrested Ravinder (37) and his driver Mohan (26) at Bhalaswa Dairy on Wednesday when they allegedly came to sell the contraband in Delhi.

More than 25 kg of contraband valued at Rs.25 lakh was seized from them. Both are residents of Bhiwani in Haryana.

Ravinder had procured the contraband from Madhya Pradesh. He was arrested in Bhiwani for a similar offence in 2002.
