Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia on Thursday reviewed the steps taken by the State Government to tackle the floods and the problems faced by the people in Ambala, Kurukshetra and Kaithal districts.

He also directed Chief Secretary Urvashi Gulati to keep him apprised regularly about the latest flood situation in the State.

Mrs. Gulati reiterated that the “flood-like situation'' was due to heavy rain and overflow in the catchment areas of the Ghaggar, Markanda and Tangri rivers.
