In an attempt to ameliorate the grievances of the Congress MLAs about development works in their areas, the Delhi Government has arranged a meeting of all the representatives with the Chief Minister, Ministers and senior officials of all the departments on January 10 and 11.

So as not to clutter the meetings too much, the MLAs of three parliamentary constituencies have been called on January 10 and those of the remaining four on the second day.

While some political observers are seeing this as an attempt by the Chief Minister to cement her position in Delhi, some officials said it had nothing to do with politics and was only meant to address some of the immediate needs of the legislators.

The Chief Secretary and senior bureaucrats from all the departments would also participate in the meetings .
