Delhi Labour and Industries Minister Ramakant Goswami has taken up with the Union Minister for Urban Development Kamal Nath the issue of delay in construction of flats meant forin situ relocation of 4,000 families of Kathputli Colony.

In a letter to Mr. Nath, the Delhi Minister has stated that the poor residents of the colony have been waiting to move into their dream flats promised to them by senior leaders.

“The residents are feeling deceived as the promised relocation is still looking illusive,” Mr. Goswami wrote, demanding that the construction be started immediately.
