Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has promised Rajasthani entrepreneurs living abroad a new legislation on single-window system to smoothen the investment process in the State. There had been a lot of talk about such a system in the past but it never got implemented in the real sense, he said addressing a meeting of the Rajasthan Foundation during his current visit to New York.

“We will soon carry out the enactment of the Single Window Act in the Rajasthan Assembly so that investment becomes truly easy,” he said. “Once the legislation is in place and gets properly implemented, the investors from abroad would find it convenient to start their enterprises in Rajasthan.” “In the past 15-20 years we have been only promising the single-window system but not practising it. All that will change with the new law,” hetold potential investors.
