Four more vehicles have been recovered by the Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police at the instance of Ulhas Prabhakar Khaire and Raksha J. Urs, the couple arrested for allegedly embezzling Rs.500 crore invested by over 2 lakh people in their financial consultancy company, “Stock Guru India”.
The latest recoveries include two high-end cars. The vehicles have been recovered from Dwarka where the couple had bought eight flats. The vehicles were found in the parking or basement areas of these houses or somewhere in the same locality. Earlier, the police had made seizures of properties and cash to the tune of Rs.63 crore.
The police said the husband-wife duo had opened a company dealing in stocks at Ratnagiri in Maharashtra from where they were arrested on November 10. However, it was not clear whether it was an investment company as Stock Guru India or merely charged a fee to advise them with investments in the share market. Further investigations are on to ascertain this. According to the police, some more bank accounts opened by the duo using fake or fraudulently obtained identification papers have been identified in Ratnagiri.
