Four girls, including two minors, were rescued from a brothel on G.B. Road here on Saturday. A woman has been arrested in this connection.

A police team mounted a raid on the brothel acting on a tip-off. Varsha, who runs the brothel, was arrested for allegedly pushing the girls into prostitution.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the four girls, all residents of Karnataka, were lured to Delhi by a man on the pretext of jobs, but were sold to Varsha who forced them into prostitution, the police said.

The four were kept confined in the brothel and not allowed to go out.
