Five women were rescued from a brothel at Kamla Market in Central Delhi in a joint operation on Friday. The brothel owner and her accomplice have been arrested.

The victims are from West Bengal and Karnataka. They were brought to the brothel last year after being trafficked into the city on the pretext of better jobs. The raid was conducted in coordination with a non-government organisation. Brothel owner and manager have been arrested.
