NEW DELHI: Five persons of Nepalese origin have been arrested by the Delhi police in connection with a theft at a Jain temple in Jagatpuri here this past weekend.

The accused have been identified as Roop Bahadur, Chandra Bahadur, Chattar Bahadur, Bama Bahadur and Padam Bahadur.

The accused, all of them night watchmen in Raheypuri, entered the temple in the early hours of January 9 and allegedly made off with an idol of “Bhagwan Adinath”.
