NEW DELHI: Noted film-makers Yash Chopra and Mukesh Bhatt called on the Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit at her office here on Thursday to express their concern over piracy.

They claimed that piracy was causing an “irreparable loss” to the film industry and also resulting in loss of government revenue. They underscored the need for instilling fear in the minds of violators and sustained efforts to overcome this menace.

The duo stated that States like Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra have promulgated an ordinance with provisions of fine and imprisonment.
