Four men posing as BSES employees allegedly robbed a family of Rs. 3 lakh in Anand Vihar here on Thursday.

The men posing as BSES employees entered the house of Pankaj Aggarwal in A Block of Surajmal Vihar around 2-30 p.m. Brandishing a toy pistol, they robbed the family of around Rs.3 lakh in cash, a mobile phone and some jewellery.

“Mr. Aggarwal’s wife Bhawana and their three children were present in the house. The men attacked Bhawana and tied up her 14-year-old son Naman,” said a police officer.

Though no arrests have been made so far, the police suspect that the accused were familiar with the whereabouts and movements of Mr. Aggarwal.
