NEW DELHI: A special assembly was held at Delhi Public School on Mathura Road this past week to recognise and reward high achievers of the 2007-08 academic year.

In his welcome speech, Principal M. I. Hussain said the large presence of parents on the occasion was an indication of their involvement in school activities: “This helps in enhancing the academic performances of their wards along with the guidance of their teachers.”
