Acting against unauthorised constructions, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi demolished illegally-built portions in three properties on Tuesday. The drive was undertaken in Sangam Vihar of Central Zone.

According to the civic body, the Building Department of the zone has taken demolition action against over 100 properties during the past one month. “The department has already uploaded the details of illegally constructed properties in different areas of Central Zone on its website and the pace of the demolition drive would be further accelerated in the coming days,” an MCD official said.
