Leading legal process outsourcing (LPO) firm CPA Global plans to expand its presence in India by opening new offices at various locations and investing over $50 million in the next three years. The company also plans to double its head count every year, thanks to good quality manpower and India's cost-competitiveness.
“It has been five years since we started our operations in India…today we have two state-of-the-art legal services delivery centres – in Noida and Gurgaon – with 1,200 employees. We are growing at over 50 per cent annually for the last three years…and to keep this growth momentum going, we will be expanding in India by adding more manpower and opening delivery centres at new locations. We will have at least 7,000 employees in India in the next five years,” CPA Global Chief Financial Officer and Head of Managed Services Anand Sharma told The Hindu.
Stating that they are looking at new locations for opening offices in India, Mr. Sharma said their focus is on five aspects of LPO services – litigation, contract management, legal research, transaction and merger and acquisitions, and intellectual property rights. “Due to our expertise in all these fields, we have some of world's top corporations today. Our job is not just helping companies in cost management but also managing their services and maintaining quality,” he added.
He said the potential in LPO business is immense as it is going to touch $16 billion by 2014, up from $16 billion today.
