NEW DELHI: A Delhi police head constable has been arrested by the Anti-Corruption Branch of the Delhi Government for allegedly demanding and accepting Rs.3,000 from a local contractor at Kamla Market in Central Delhi.

Mirza Wasim, a local contractor at Ajmeri Gate, lodged a complaint with the ACB alleging that Head Constable Rajkumar had been demanding money to allow him to run his business in the area. Acting on the complaint, the police laid a trap and arrested the policeman when he was allegedly accepting Rs.3,000 from the complainant.
