Two Nigerian nationals allegedly possessing 70.5 gm of cocaine worth over Rs.1 crore in the international market have been arrested at Fatehpur Beri in South Delhi. The accused had supplied the stuff to conduits who sold it to rich clients in neighbouring Greater Noida during the recently held Formula 1 race there.

The accused have been identified as Chidi Meachele Iloagbala (32) and Chukwoeeka Kenneth. Acting on a tip-off that the suspects would come near Sultanpuri metro station to meet a client, the police laid a trap and arrested them purportedly with the consignment.

During interrogation, the accused disclosed that they had been residing here in Uttam Nagar. The duo came to India about six months ago on business visas. They came in contact with a Nigerian drug trafficker in Mumbai, who initiated them into the trade.

According to the police, the accused had provided cocaine to some conduits who supplied it to their clients in Greater Noida where Formula 1 race was being organised in October.
