Delhi Lieutenant-Governor Tejendra Khanna on Sunday launched Amala Bharatam Campaign (Clean India Drive) which aims to increase public participation in cleaning of public places and generating awareness about cleanliness and sanitation.

Launching the campaign, organised by Mata Amritanandamayi Math and Shanti Kunj, Vasant Vihar, Mr. Khanna appealed to the people to take a vow to clean their surroundings. “If the people, government agencies and social organisations work together, this sacred endeavour will certainly bear fruit,” he said.
