Bharatiya Janata Party president Nitin Gadkari on Thursday asserted that his party would sweep the next general elections as the masses had seen through the corrupt and inefficient regime of the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre. He was addressing the Jan Akrosh rally at the Parade Grounds here.

The Congress led Government was increasing fuel prices and introducing new taxes to benefit the multinationals and select corporates, he alleged.

Mr. Gadkari said that it was unfortunate that the Prime Minister was silent over huge quantities of food grains rotting in the godowns even as millions were starving in the country.
