NEW DELHI: Anil Dhirubhai Ambani-owned Reliance Infrastructure (R-Infra) on Thursday announced that it had won the Rs.925-crore Hosur-Krishnagiri road project from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in Tamil Nadu.

The six-laning of the 60-km Hosur-Krishnagiri stretch on NH 7 will be built on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) toll basis. “Reliance Infrastructure is happy to win the Hosur–Krishnagiri project, which is the 10th road project of the company,” the company said in a statement here.

The Hosur-Krishnagiri project will start generating revenue immediately after achieving financial closure which is expected within the next six months. The company will spend on the six-laning and maintenance of Hosur-Krishnagiri section of NH-7. The company said it bagged the project facing stiff competition from 15 other bidders based on highest premium amount of Rs.66.90 crore.
