NEW DELHI: The country’s first district level paperless e-court started functioning at the Karkardooma complex here on Monday with Additional Sessions Judge Sanjay Garg presiding over the seamless proceedings.

Delhi High Court Chief Justice A. P. Shah inaugurated the e-court saying such courts would bring more transparency and efficiency to the justice delivery system. Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed said witnesses can depose and be cross-examined over long distance.
