Inder Malhotra, senior columnist and author of the new book, "Indira Gandhi", writes: "An error has crept into the otherwise excellent report on the launch of my new biography of Indira Gandhi (The Hindu, April 22). As I repeatedly said at the function and indeed in the book itself, she was the second greatest Prime Minister after her father Jawaharlal Nehru who, in the galaxy of Indian leaders, was much behind Mahatma Gandhi, of course. The report unfortunately has given the contrary impression.''
