NEW DELHI: Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) has unveiled its calendar of events for 2006-2007.

The much-awaited 18th Mango Festival opened at Talkatora Indoor Stadium here on Saturday. A number of mouth-watering mangoes from across the country will be showcased at the two-day festival.

For film buffs and critics, the ``Osian's Cine Asian Film Festival" will be held at Siri Fort Auditorium from July 14 to 23.

DTTDC will organise ``Trade and Travel Seminar and Mart" in Los Angeles from August 19 to 21, while the popular ``Qutub Festival" will be held from September 29 to October 1 at the historic Qutub Minar here.

For lovers of traditional classical dances ``Ananya" weeklong festival of classical dances will be held between October 12 and 16 at Purana Qila. After making waves in London, Dilli Haat Exposition will travel to Frankfurt in Germany for the six-day International Book Fair beginning October 3.

Also in October, DTTDC will organise a two-day ``Council for Promotion of Tourism in Asia Council Meeting" in the Capital beginning October 5.

For music connoisseurs, there is something to look forward to as ``Italian Opera" will perform at Purana Qila on November 11. Giving a touch of Indian flavour ``Sharad Utsav" will be held at Prasad Nagar Lake on December 24.

In 2007, DTTDC has a number of interesting events lined up from February to March.

The three-day ``Garden Tourism Festival" will start from February 23 at Garden of Five Senses, while the month-long ``Global Village" will be held at Noida Toll Bridge beginning February 15.

Filmmaker and music composer, Muzaffar Ali's ``Jahan-E-Khusrau" -- a three-day festival of international Sufi music -- will be held at Arab Ki Sarai Humayun here from March 2.
